Literary Tattoo Help!

I’ve been thinking about getting an ampersand tattoo for a while now and since my tattoo shop is having a end of year sale I think I might go and get it…. The only problem is finalizing my font choice. So far I have narrowed it down to the following:

1.

2.

3.

4. A combination of Garamond No 5 & Julie

5.

6.

Thank you so much for your help!!!

EDIT : Added more choices!

7.

8.

  1. Wow. None of these are recognizable to me as ampersands.

    • Yeah… for some reason I’m not really loving the classic “ampersand”. I think I like the “et” ones because it also means “and” in French.

Most people seem to like 1 (because it looks the most like an ampersand).

  2. I like the one from Chardonnay.

  3. I like six a lot!

  4. I agree with Stacey. 🙂

  5. I like the Chardonnay. And, funny, just yesterday I was saying that the ampersand is tied for my fave punctuation (tied with the semicolon) – I would love an ampersand tat. How cool.

  6. #insixwords: I think number six is best!

  7. I like the Medalist or the Gwendolyn.

  8. I’m sticking with 6!

  9. The ampersand just reminds me of work at good ol’ _&_.

And it’s bitchy – you’re not connecting anything. People will look at you and say “and what?” and you’ll be all like “and????” I vote no.
